Participants will gain insights into developing strategies aligned with broader responsible investment goals, including an introduction to carbon foot printing, emissions target-setting, and practical implementation approaches. The discussion will also cover effective engagement with portfolio companies to drive climate action, as well as best practices for measuring progress and reporting outcomes to stakeholders.

19:30 - 19:45 – ESG in Action

This session provides a deep dive into ESG beyond climate, exploring regulatory and stakeholder drivers as well as the business case for long-term value creation. The session also addresses responding to LP expectations with confidence, while offering a platform to share experiences and challenges with peers to support effective implementation.

19:45 - 20:00 – Renewable Energy – Powering a Safer and Prosperous Future

Energy transition is climate action.

From fossil fuels to renewables: powering the net-zero future

Energy is at the heart of the climate challenge – and key to the solution. In 2023, the power sector was the largest source of global greenhouse gas emissions, mainly from burning fossil fuels for electricity and heat. The science is clear: to avoid the worst impacts of climate change, emissions must be reduced by almost half by 2030 and reach net-zero by 2050. This session will explore how renewable energy sources—sunlight, wind, water, organic waste, and geothermal—can provide clean, affordable, sustainable, and reliable alternatives to fossil fuels, powering a safer and more prosperous future.

20:00 - 20:15 – Strengthening the Social Dimension of ESG in Oil & Gas

Oil and gas companies have long taken Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues very seriously. While much attention focuses on the environmental aspect, the social element often receives less focus. Prioritizing the social dimension can enhance access to capital, boost employee engagement, improve corporate reputation, and reinforce the licence to operate. This session explores strategies for oil and gas companies to get that narrative right and maximize the impact of ESG initiatives.

20:15 - 20:30 – Fostering Ethical Governance through Transparency, Accountability & Risk Management

Ethical governance is a cornerstone of effective ESG practices. By embedding transparency, accountability, and robust risk management into organizational processes, companies can build stakeholder trust, enhance corporate reputation, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen long-term sustainability. This session explores practical strategies and frameworks to integrate ethical governance seamlessly into ESG initiatives across industries.

20:30 - 20:45 – Predictive Safety Analytics: Leveraging AI and IoT for Proactive Occupational Health and Safety

The future of Occupational Health and Safety lies in anticipating risks before they occur. By shifting from reactive to predictive safety management, organizations can significantly reduce incidents, improve workforce well-being, and optimize operational efficiency.
