Global Safety Summit recognizes industries and industry professionals for their excellent contributions in various verticals of environment health and safety and corporate social responsibility. Individuals viz students, professionals, research scientists and auditors can apply for the professional awards in Environment Health and Safety and Corporate Social Responsibility categories. The industrial award nominations are considered in the plant level as well as the entity level in Environment Health and Safety and Corporate Social Responsibility Categories, and separate industrial verticals viz oil and gas, steel, powerplant, chemical, Food and Beverages, FMCG, Agro, etc.., which further considered in the Small Medium Enterprise Level and Large Enterprise Level. The two departments of Juries scrutiny the award nominations through the predefined award selection criteria, which comprises of written examinations, professional evaluation, reference and background verification and personal interviews for individuals and legal and statutory verification, Award presentations and onsite (virtual ) assessment for the industries.
Talented and veteran safety professionals can apply for individual safety awards. This is the first India International award platform where professionals from environment health safety and corporate social responsibility sectors, trainers, research fellows or research scientists and auditors can nominate themselves or the corporate industries can nominate their employees for the Global Safety Summit Professional Awards. After the effective evaluation procedure, award will be delivered during the valedictory session of the Global Safety Summit. Specific categories for the Women applicants are also listed apart from the normal award categories.
Every year GSS is witnessing the gathering of hundreds of Safety Health Environment and CSR Professionals, and the day conference is hosted by 30+ Eminent Speakers. Every Year the Awards are distributed by Union Cabinet Ministers in the Event hosted at New Delhi. Dr. Harsh Vardhan and Mr. Alphons Joseph Kannanthanam were the previous year chief guests, and who distributed the awards to the winners. Past events have the presence of Speakers from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Quality Council of India, NSDC, RBI etc.
