Global Safety Summit (GSS) is an annual conference, organised by Fire and Safety Forum a duly registered NGO in India, founded in 2009 which is India’s First International Certification & Assessment Body, developing the certification guidelines as per American National Standard Institute, United State of America. Fire and Safety Forum is the signatory to United Nations Global Compact New York and in active association with the network in India (UNGCNI).
Since 2014, every year GSS hosts 1000+ safety professionals, 40+ Eminent Speakers and 30+ Industrial Award Winners in New Delhi India. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, GSS 2020 in partnership with UNGCNI, held virtually and the award winners list published in Forbes Magazines’ Indian Portal.

GSS awards are most prestigious recognitions, show casing the achievements of Industries in environment, health, safety and CSR. GSS set assessment criteria pertaining to the industrial sector for eg: oil and gas, steel, powerplants, renewable energy, construction, agro, FMCG, food and beverages, which accurate to the specific area assessment. Industries can nominate in their plant level as well as national level as a group organization. In India the implementation of EHS standards is effective up to maximum of 20% of the Industrial sector, the rest is slowly following either the basic Safety Standards and Practices. The GSS Awards in Environment Health and Safety is motivating the companies following the standards at their beginner level to improve to the best practices and announces the successful companies those who sets out the benchmarks in the industry.
